I believe you can have your best year ever as long as your attitude is right.

How do you have a great attitude? By focusing on what is right and not on what's wrong! Remember the old saying garbage in, garbage out, well the new research shows that's not true at all. The new saying is its garbage in, garbage stays in, and then it grows and duplicates. The only real way to get garbage out is to flush out the negative by adding more positive information.

The big question is what is it going to take for that to happen?

First let me tell you what won't work...doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result, Einstein said that's the definition of insanity.

Remember, you become like those who you associate with so...... associate with positive people, and get rid of the negative people in your life.  In life as well as in sports, if you want to get better you play with people that are better than you. They will push you and motivate you to get better

I have been watching Tiger Woods and his comeback after a 10 month layoff after knee surgery. In one of his last tournaments the announcers said "Tiger just needs to get a little angry to push him into his best play"  and that's just what happened, he visibly got angry at himself and by the end of the tournament you could see his level of play improving. Then he won the next tournament. Wow I guess it worked for him.


Personally I don't get angry, and I believe most of the time its a negative, yet it got me thinking that maybe we need to get angry at ourselves like Tiger did. We need to stop blaming others for where we are in life. Then let's turn that anger into dissatisfaction to push us, to move us out of our comfort zone.
